Hull of the Texas Forest Service introduces the new Texas Forest Service logo that will be utilized by the Texas Forest Service on a phase in basis on service vehicles and other items, such as letterhead, business cards, etc., immediately. "This new Texas Forest Service logo is more than just a symbol, it reflects the direction of this agency," Hull stated. "We are constantly striving to serve the people of Texas in the most efficient and innovative ways possible without losing sight of our heritage." The new logo incorporates the lone star and tree that have been a part of the agency's image for more than 50 years. The star was modified slightly to be more in line with the star used in the seal of The Texas A&M University System, of which the Texas Forest Service is a member.
